STUDENTS WITHOUT ADMIT CARDS

Dear LCs,

Every possible effort has been made by us to issue the Admit Cards to all the students. Lot of students data has been corrected last night as submitted and requested by yoy. You are requested to check in your login IDs of www.depexam.com for the uploaded new/corrected Admit Cards.

Still, if some body is left, who could not be issued the Admit Card, you are requested to download the Undertaking Performa as follows and get it filled from concerned student. This undertaking must be attested by you with sign and stamp and delivered to student. The concerned student will have to carry this attested performa at the alloted Examination Center for your LC alongwith  LC- ID card or any other valid photo identity proof like voter ID/Passport/Driving Licence/ID issued by employer etc.

All the Examination Centers have been instructed to allow such students after due verification.

Bar Code Stickers to be pasted by students on the Answer Sheet

Dear LCs,

Please communicate the following Information to all your students who will sit in S-12 Exams

During the upcoming September-12 DEP Examinations, a new system of Bar Code stickers has been introduced for ensuring greater control & speedy declaration of results. Every student will be given a bar code sticker of his roll number in the examination hall. When the invigilator will approach the student for marking the attendance, student will sign the attendance sheet and also paste the bar code sticker of his roll number. This bar code sticker will be given by Invigilator. A student must check carefully that he pastes the correct sticker of only his roll number. If wrong sticker is pasted, the result will be held up and that student will suffer badly.

Although the instructions about pasting bar code stickers carefully have been passed to examination centers also, still it has to be well ensured by the student that correct sticker is pasted because ultimately he will be the sufferer in case of error.

Some LC login IDs blocked

Dear LCs,

Despite our repeated requests, a number of LCs of this zone have still not registered themselves on this blog by filling the LC Information Performa. It is for the kind information of such LCs that their log in IDs for our exam module www.depexam.com have been blocked. Now if any of their students data is pending or some admit cards are not available, and such students are not allowed to appear in the examination at concerned exam center, it will be the total responsibility of such LCs only. University will not entertain any claims about that.

And we appreciate plus thank all those LCs who have timely filled the LC Information Performa. Kindly note that the link/email for downloading the student Admit Cards with preprinted photos will soon be sent at those emails which you have provided in our LC Information Performa. Right now please dont haste to print without photo admit cards from our exam module.

No students dealing at Kolkata Office

It has come to our notice that many LCs are routing the students directly to our Kolkata Office for complaints settlement. Many students are visiting our office or calling us. This practice greatly disturbs our official functioning. So all LCs are requested to present the students cases as a summary and send us the same. Or even the LCs themselves are welcome to visit our office on official timings to get their concerns addressed.
In any case no LC will send the students to our office nor will any LC convey our address/contact numbers to any students.
Strict compliance of the same may please be ensured.

Extended dates for submitting re-admission & re-appear data.

Dear LCs,

This is to inform you that the University has extended the last dates for submitting the re-admission & re-appear data for the exam session Sept-12. The re-admission (with a late fee of Rs.2500/-) and re-appear forms(without any late-fee) which were still not submitted by the LCs', may be submitted at our Kolkata office alongwith the DDs' of requisite fee on or before 22nd Aug 12.
The soft copy of the above mentioned data may be sent at saurabh@ptu.ac.in on or before 22nd Aug 12.
